Flexport, a SoftBank-backed unicorn, is dedicated to transforming global trade, customs, and logistics. As a senior in-house designer, I played a key role in shaping Flexport’s brand identity by creating vibrant illustrations that aligned with the company’s mission. My work included promotional pieces for State of Trade, a long-running webinar series hosted by Chief Economist Phil Levy, and spot and cover illustrations for Flexport.org, the company’s philanthropic arm. These designs supported initiatives like decarbonizing the shipping industry, carbon offset projects, and disaster relief efforts, with a clean and hopeful aesthetic to inspire during the challenges of 2020. Additionally, I created visuals that championed Flexport’s internal culture and DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) initiatives, projects I found especially rewarding for their focus on fostering community and belonging while aiding recruitment efforts.
